ABOUT THE ACCOUNTANT
 Erica V. Cooke officially began her career in 1999, although she has been preparing tax returns since 1989. As a graduate of the fine Jesuit Institution of Gonzaga University (Spokane, WA) with a degree in Business Administration, she continued her education with the College of William and Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctor in 1999.
After graduating Law School she worked at a large regional public accounting firm for over 5 years preparing tax returns and tax planning for trusts, estates, small businesses and individuals. She also assisted on several not-for-profit and government audits.
In 2005, Erica started her own tax preparation business, focusing on trust, estate, small businesses and individual tax return preparation and tax planning.
Erica joined the Zaremba Center in January 2008 by merging her business with the Zaremba Center. We are delighted to offer her tax expertise and talent in Tax Planning and preparation to our clients.
Erica is an only child that grew up a "military brat" as her father's career as an Army Officer took her all over the world. Erica has lived in many places including Germany, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington State and Virginia.
Erica currently resides in Newport News with her husband and daughter. She is active in her church and Crown Financial Ministries.
