LIVING WILL
A Living Will is a written declaration and direction that provides the withholding, or withdrawal of life-prolonging procedures in the event that a person has a terminal condition. Most Living Wills begin with an applicable state statute that defines what a terminal condition is, and what language is recommended. Each state statute provides that more specific information can be added to to fit individual desires. For example, the statutory form can be amended to provide for the removal of feeding tubes.
